Summary: The role involves supporting the QA Department in overseeing quality control, providing technical assistance, and implementing safety programs to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

Write and review procedures for accuracy and efficiency
Conduct monthly quality audits to ensure alignment with procedures
Promote a culture of Safety and Right the First Time (RFT)
Manage testing of finished goods, inventory adjustments, and product disposition
Support QA staff in troubleshooting during production issues
Review batch boards and prepare batch paperwork
Assist with training for department personnel
Participate in audits and team meetings

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, business, or related field. Relevant work experience can be considered
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality improvement software
Ability to lead a team and pass background checks
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Physical Demands: The job includes sitting, using hands, reaching, and talking. Occasionally requires lifting up to 25 pounds.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Reasoning Ability: Capable of defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.

Work Environment: Involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional fumes or particles. Moderate noise level.
