Job summary
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant I/II to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. As a valuable member of our team, you will provide empathic care to patients and their families with the highest degree of integrity and respect.The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and knowledge and understanding of patient care. They will also be able to effectively respond to changing patient needs by making decisions based on ethical principles and adhering to our high standard of excellence.
Please note that this position requires frequent face-to-face communication with persons in care and their visitors for the purpose of conveying information on treatment procedures and visitors hours.
