Position SummaryAs an Engineer in Training (EIT), you will play a crucial role in supporting our project teams in the design, permitting, bidding and construction management of various Civil Engineering projects.

Under the mentorship of experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience and develop your professional skills in a supportive and challenging environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, permitting and construction admin/management of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologies.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations. Participate in project meetings and coordinate with team members, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives. Support the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents. Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to advance towards professional engineering licensure.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil or environmental engineering projects. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in engineering principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills and programs Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
