- Voltage Drop Calculations
- Motor Control Schematics
- Application of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- One-Line Diagrams
- Conduit/Cable Schedules
- Conduit Design (AG, BG)
- Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams
- Lighting Design
- Equipment Grounding Design
- DELIVERABLE MANAGEMENT
- Review drawings to ensure compliance with safety-first design practices and industry codes.
- Coordinate project-specific deliverables with team members.
- Integrate Company Standards and Regulatory Codes into project deliverables.
- Perform quality check of drawing deliverables.
- Review other discipline deliverables for alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct field work for design information.
- Respond to project RFI's.
- Review third-party vendor drawings for compatibility.
- Experience in field site assessments

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in midstream energy or petrochemical sector
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ETAP, SKM, or equivalent, and Microsoft Office Suite

JOB TITLE: Sr. Electrical Engineer, P.E. NorthStar Energy Services is looking for an experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic Engineer to join the Professional Engineering Consulting team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of professional engineers and designers specializing in Energy Projects.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Engineer in this role will be accountable for developing design parameters including design concept, engineering criteria, equipment and instrumentation specifications, equipment selections, code interpretations, and analysis relating to Energy Facilities design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.) preferred.
