    Essential Job Duty #1:
    Run Existing Analytics and Data ETL Processes & Troubleshoot Data Problems

    • Run essential monthly Extract-TransformLoad data processes for the Special Markets business area
    • Audit and troubleshoot data problems as they arise, research and implement solutions
    • Learn and understand the parts of the ETL Flow and how to keep the data secure and uncorrupted as new data is loaded
    • Produce necessary monthly reporting and collaborate on any changes and improvements requested during the monthly data cycle
    • Work competently with the mix of technologies, including SQL Server, Access, Excel, and Excel VBA

    Essential Job Duty #2:
    Project Management and Coordination

    • Act as liaison between business areas, IT, and (if necessary) external vendor partners to coordinate stakeholders, communicate needs, and document processes
    • Create and maintain project plans and establish a high level of communication between stakeholders
    • Understand system impacts and technology requirements to accomplish a project
    • Document project requirements by listening to the needs of various internal stakeholders
    • Establish task list for internal and external partners to ensure progress toward the timeline
    • Understand and document internal dependencies and build project timeline to set realistic goals
    • Facilitate internal and external meetings with relevant stakeholders

    Essential Job Duty #3:
    Research and Deploy Best Practices & Process Improvement

    • Understands current business processes and operational models
    • Maintains current process documentation around implementation procedures
    • Works with management and departmental areas to develop "future state" models that improves capabilities and efficiencies, documenting and providing recommendations as required
    • Monitors implementations and attends opportunity assessment meetings to continually align with current and future business capabilities
    • Standardize process documentation to facilitate accessibility and ease of use
    • Conduct research, as needed, to explore industry best practice and provide recommendations and thought leadership to the business teams

    Essential Job Duty #4:
    Develop New Products

    • Serves as a change agent for business areas
    • Consults with the user and business areas to elicit business needs, assess feasibility of alternatives, and provide recommendations
    • Implements new business capabilities by leveraging and enhancing business processes and technology
    • Completes business requirement documents for system modifications in conjunction with IT and the business departments
    • Ensures that validation and reconciliation processes are deployed to ensure new processes and systems operate as anticipated
    • Defines use cases and prepares test plans, performs testing, validations and/or coordinates departmental signoff as needed
    • Acquires necessary resource commitments from the business departments to ensure that improvement initiatives are well supported
    • Shares solution details through written and verbal communication to local management and business areas to ensure that business needs are appropriately satisfied
    • Creates documentation for process changes and system enhancements, develops and compiles training and reference documentation and potentially performs enduser training to support new initiatives
