    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Associate degree or higher
    • Over 1 year of experience in ANY of the following:
      • Acute Care
      • Emergency Department (ED)
      • Critical Care
      • Oncology
      • Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
      • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
      • Home Health Care
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
    • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • Full-Time position

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual in Spanish
    • RN License Number
    • List any specialized certifications you may have.

    Overview:

    Our client is seeking a full-time Home Health RN in Middlesex County, NJ.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Provide skilled nursing care.

    • Ability to work independently.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
    • Experience in home health care.

    This position will service the following coverage areas:

    • Middlesex County, NJ

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to a specified (or variety) of age and diagnostic groups.
    • Utilize principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care.
    • Demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills in implementing prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care.
    • Utilize effective interviewing techniques, set limits, and collect data based on a specific role.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients, and families based on specific roles.
    • Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients
    • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
    • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
    • Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team promptly.

    Schedule and Shift Details:

    • 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • 1 weekend per month
    • Including working one summer and one winter holiday
