    THE ROLE IN SHORT:


    In this role, your duties will include overseeing the various stages of HW product development and collaborating with the software development team.

    You will also be responsible for collaborate with cross-functional teams on the deployment and integration of new products leading other departments.

    To ensure success as a Hardware Engineer, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in product development in a related industry.

    HW Engineers manage the development and application of HW products to make sure they are high-quality and meet schedule and cost constraints.

    They are as comfortable digging into business requirements as they are drilling into HW definitions and specifications with suppliers and development teams.

    HW Engineers delve into technical roadblocks to help troubleshoot, see around corners for challenges ahead and communicate clearly at an executive level.


    WHAT WOULD YOUR JOB LOOK LIKE:
    Prepare technical documentation and reports detailing information related to certifications, research, and evaluations
    Develop and execute firmware, hardware, and software test plans to ensure the quality of products and services offered by the company
    Analyze and diagnose problems, identifying root causes using tools such as Pareto analysis, fault tree analysis, etc. Propose an action plan and serve as a technical reference for the employed technologies
    Specify technical requirements for accessories and/or advanced equipment, gathering project requirements, defining communication protocols, and maintaining good communication with suppliers
    Develop simple electronic circuits, electrical harness designs, and test jigs using knowledge of electronic engineering and adhering to best hardware development practices
    Develop firmware for electronic equipment used in vehicles using programming languages such as C/C++ and various development tools (Eclipse, IAR, etc.)
    Be capable of preparing managerial and results presentations, representing engineering to other areas of the company, and defending technical concepts that ensure the quality of the company's solutions
    Lead and manage advanced projects involving other areas of the company, monitoring all activities and having an understanding of the product as a whole, from ERP registrations to system functionalities
    Provide advanced technical support related to firmware and hardware for equipment used in the field, seeking to find the most appropriate solution and maintaining customer satisfaction as the goal

    WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING WITH YOU:

    Bachelor's degree in technology
    3-5 years of experience as Hardware Engineer or related, preferably in a related industry
    Knowledge regarding main development software (C, C++, C#, etc)
    A hands-on collaborator, able to span the demands of strategic projects and operational detail with ease
    Strong technology acumen, business sensitivity for decisions making, clear creative abilities, analytical orientation, high energy, and resilience with exceptional organizational and influencing skills
    Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to collaborate with IT engineers, Product Owners and report to senior managers
    Extensive experience in hardware and/or software product engineering and deployment
