The Production Manager is responsible for implementing and enforcing lean manufacturing in an industrial setting.

In this role, you will provide guidance to value streams to ensure that the manufacturing floor is working as efficient as possible.

My client is a leader in innovation for manufacturing technology across several lines of business. They manufacture cutting edge products right out of their site in the Newington, NH area.
The responsibilities of the Production Manager include, but are not limited to:
Leading the value stream team in daily operations and continuous improvement

Supervising a team of production leaders, planners, manufacturing techs, and associates, fostering a visible and safe environment for participation and promoting hands-on problem-solving approaches.

Developing, monitoring, and reporting visual metrics and KPIs, proactively addressing issues, making improvements, and maintaining timely results.

Managing staffing levels, including recruitment, termination, and disciplinary actions, while fostering a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused team and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Driving waste reduction throughout the manufacturing operation via Lean methodology deployment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and recommending changes to enhance productivity and support new developments.

The successful Production Manager will have:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Leadership Role or equivalent position.
Demonstrated comprehension of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing in an industrial setting
