TASKS:
Perform lay out, fabrication and welding of piping systems. Assemble, install, repair, and maintain marine hydraulic plumbing, pipe systems, and structural components.
Skilled in the fabrication and repair of marine piping systemsOperate hand-held powered equipment and manual toolsPractice proper safety always. Follow instructions from supervisor/supervisors on site. Keep job site clean.
KNOWLEDGE:
Experience with piping systems, fitting and installation.
Experience reading and understanding blueprints, sketches, and templatesFamiliar with industry codes and regulationsSafe use of all tools and equipment RequirementsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
All types of physical movement required for this position to successfully perform the essential functions.
Ability to use upper and lower extremities.
Ability to work outside in heat, inclement weather, and cold.
Ability to crawl, kneel, crouch, climb, and bend around and under equipment, on ladders, stairs, scaffolds, through small accesses, enter into tanks, and confined spaces, through hatches, and manholes throughout much of the work shift.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Salary Description $20-$30/hourly
