LancemSoft is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team for a locum tenens opportunity at our Level II Trauma Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Practice Setting

• The selected candidate will work in adult inpatient, trauma, and elective neurosurgery settings.

Caseload

• The average caseload consists of 1 surgical case per day.

Typical Procedures & Skills Required:

• Bleed Control (Braid Bleed Stoppage)


• Brain Injury management including traumatic brain injury management;


• Burr holes and tumor removal procedures;


• Intracranial Hemorrhage management including ICP monitor insertion & management;


• Shunt Insertion/Revisionincluding ventricular taps,
  ventriculoperitoneal shunt reprogramming/replacement &< br/>management;
  Stereotactic Radiosurgery;; Spine Surgery (Discectomy Laminectomy SPinal Fusion Stabilization Reconstruction);_requirement of Lumbar Puncture , CSF sampling from drains ; Interpretation & Management CPP data;< / li>
