    The West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, Inc. (WSFSSH) is a community-based organization whose mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting which enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides housing for low- income older persons, many of whom live with mental illness and/or have experienced homelessness.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage full cycle recruiting process for a variety of requisitions up to leadership level.
    • Mange sourcing, soliciting feedback from hiring managers, providing ongoing updates during the recruitment process to stakeholders, communicating status to candidates, coordinating offers, background checks and onboarding.
    • Own the candidate development and experience from identification and engagement through offer extension and closing.
    • Responsible for keeping applicant tracking system (ADP Workforce Now) up to date, and compliant with all state and federal laws.
    • Keep HR Team abreast of new hires, job titles, start dates and the satisfactory return of background checks to ensure start dates are accurate.
    • Responsible for clean and reportable data to support affirmative action reporting.
    • Create or enhance an efficient recruitment process with recruiting tools and resources that is data-driven and sets best practices.
    • Utilize a metric driven approach and best practices to recruitment trainings.
    • Develop regular feedback mechanisms to track candidate experience and interview team, and review feedback with stakeholders on next steps.
    • Partner with hiring managers, Human Resources Partners, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs, including giving the stakeholders a view of external market and competitive data.
    • Provide guidance to hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates by influencing hiring decisions and sharing best practices.
    • Develop relationships for pipeline sustainability source candidates using network, colleges, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates.
    • Create and organize external recruiting sources and events to generate a pipeline of candidates for current and future job opportunities.
    • Oversee the WSFSSH's employment branding strategies and manage an online marketing program to promote job openings and career opportunities at the organization.
    • Establish the WSFSSH's recruitment initiatives on social media (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube).
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements
    • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment with nonprofit recruitment.
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • A strong communicator and influencer with interpersonal and networking skills.
    • Experience successfully developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies, including using creative sourcing methods to tap into diverse and passive applicant pools
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and as a team.
    • Experience with ADP Workforce now a plus.
