    We are a Minnesota based family owned business with our main location in Blaine and an opening for an experienced diesel engine technician in our Truck Shop. We are looking for someone with years of experience, an expertise working with diesel engines, detail oriented, and a strong work ethic. This position is 1st shift position Monday through Friday 7am-5pm approx hours per week. Come join our growing Family of Companies

    SCHEDULE: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday- 7am-5pm

    The essential duties include:


    • Performs repair on diesel truck engines.


    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.


    • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.


    • Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.


    • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings


    • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.


    • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards


    • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

    Blaine Brothers was founded in 1979 and has now been serving the transportation industry for over 40 years. Two brothers began with the mission to provide quality service and build quality relationships. Blaine Brothers has since grown and expanded to meet the needs of our clients.

    In 2006 the Blaine Brothers Minneapolis location constructed and moved into a 58,000 square foot facility located in Blaine, Minnesota. Our team of professionals offer our clients solutions to the variety of challenges they face. With services offered 24/7 and the facility being open 24/5, superior customer service is provided around the clock. We have multiple bays for truck and trailer service along with a complete offering of parts. Our Service Technicians have an extensive amount of experience.

    Blaine Brothers has a second location in Scanlon (Cloquet), Minnesota. This facility offers the same parts and service you depend on at our Minneapolis location. Our other location is in Clearwater, Minnesota. Although a smaller facility, it offers quality truck and trailer services you expect from any one of our locations. Blaine Brothers TRUCKALINE offers complete frame, suspension and alignment services.
