- Monitor and track surgical instruments using automated instrument tracking systems.
- Monitor inventory records using a variety of software.
- Disassemble, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Inspect instruments and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and surgical precision.
- Serve as the supervisor of the Central Materiel Section, which supports the decontamination, sterilization, instrument and cart preparation, equipment maintenance and supply, and storage and issue of medical supplies.
- Perform employee evaluations using DPMAPS.
