Water Restoration Technician Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage mitigation and assessments.
• Extract water from flooded areas using pumps and specialized equipment.
• Set up drying equipment and monitor moisture levels to ensure proper drying and prevent further damage.
• Inspect and assess structural damage caused by water intrusion.
• Perform basic demolition and reconstruction tasks as needed.
• Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate effectively with other restoration team members, including project managers, electricians, and cleanup crews.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service.

Requirements for Water Restoration Technician

• Minimum of 3 year of experience in water damage restoration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of water damage mitigation techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in potentially hazardous environments, including lifting heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• California Certifications: certifications for water testing related to public health or environmental regulations.
