Job Summary:
Performs tests and analyzes body fluids and tissue or prepares blood components/products to provide high quality,
comprehensive medical laboratory results in compliance with section policies and procedures.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results.
- Ensures quality of test results by following defined Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Maintains appropriate education to accomplish work objectives
&c; maintain current certifications as applicable.
