    Description
    We are currently seeking Center/Bus Caregivers to join our team in Steele, Alabama.

    Who are we?

    We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974.

    We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment.

    We have 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve nearly 3,000 children each year.

    Essential Functions


    As a Campus/Bus Caregiver you will support center and transportation (Bus Monitor duties) services as well as assist in the physical maintenance and care of the facility.

    Additionally, you will perform safety checks (playground, classroom), serve as kitchen aide; general clerical duties (making copies, assembling packets, shredding, etc.) as assigned.

    What you need to be qualified

    Accepted:
    Enroll in GED program and completion within two years of hired in the position.

    Preferred:
    High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED), and documented years of experience in childcare.

    Bilingual English-Spanish preferred or English-Creole, as applicable.


    Starting:
    $15.00
