This position is responsible for providing custom engineered solutions to customers' unique applications.The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of activities, from concept development, designing, testing, and implementing custom valve solutions into production around the world.
Execute customer orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interactionProvide technical support for assigned products to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers
Maintain and update assigned products through Engineering Change Requests and design projects.
Perform and document design calculations and analysis
Create 3D CAD models and assemblies
Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement
You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering(specifically one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Mechanical aptitude and visualization skills
One or more years' engineering experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other relevant experience.
Working knowledge of computer tools in particular those related to the design and technical drawing (three-dimensional CAD, Solidworks, FEM finite element calculation) and of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, VBA experience is a plus).
