RICEFW Technologies Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Scrum Master (Ref# SM42RG).


JOB DUTIES:
To work in Okemos, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Responsible for implementing Scrum practices and Agile methodology across multiple IT projects. Support clients with continued outreach to other applicable parts of the organizations, so that Agile principles are adopted consistently. Responsible for roadmap planning, project plans, business presentations, and brainstorming sessions for requirement gathering and enhancement implementation. Manage all Scrum activities for the team and track the health of the project.

Coach the team on effective Scrum ceremony execution (standups, estimation, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives) and facilitate these activities early in the engagement.

Ensure team progress/success and measures are highly visible to stakeholders and the team (backlogs, burndown charts, release details, etc.). Involved in product backlog grooming, user story mapping, and creation of use cases. Track Agile transformation progress and improvement of estimation. Define reporting requirements in Jira to ensure dashboards are created for data visualization. Create scripts in Jira for data analysis and extraction. Manage programs with Iterative, Agile, and Scrum methodologies for digital platforms in automation space. Align goals with strategic business objectives, establish measurable performance goals, and define the highest-value, shortest-lead-time path to success. Create and help collect usable metrics for management and executives. Capture end-of-day metrics and prepare burn-down and burn-up charts. Support implementation of the business strategy through programs that develop and maintain the company's value-added products and services. Review product backlog with the Product Owner in preparation for future release planning activities. Schedule and facilitate release planning sessions for future releases based on the team's cadence. Provide support and education for improving Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices. Develop a sustainable Agile working group and internal Agile community. Use of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet. Travel and/or relocation required.


REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Application Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, or related experience.

Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Scrum, Agile, and Jira. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
