    Location: Sylvania, OH

    Salary: Undisclosed

    We are hiring Classroom Aides in the morning and evening shifts. Ideal for Ross Graduates with 0-3 years of experience as Medical Assistants (MA) or Dental Assistants (DA).

    Job Summary


    The Classroom Aide provides assistance to Instructors and students in individual and group sessions. They work under supervision, supporting student tutoring and remediation needs.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Aiding with technology in classroom
    • Setting up labs and classroom prep
    • Assisting in hands-on activities
    • Performing other classroom duties as assigned
    Outside of Class:

    • Providing scheduled tutoring to students
    • Assisting with classroom maintenance
    • All work is on campus
    All Classroom Aides must:

    • Maintain a positive attitude
    • Keep student information confidential
    • Abide by academic integrity standards
    • Refer to Campus Leadership for complex issues
    Qualifications:

    • Graduate from Ross Medical Education Center as an MA or DA
    • 2+ years work experience in medical or dental assisting (for non-Ross graduates)
    • National certification as MA or DA a plus
    • Ability to move around and assist students
    • Effective communication skills
    • Knowledge of subjects being taught
    • Adaptability in fast-paced environments
    • Proficient in using technology for student records
    • Maintain credentials and professionalism
    • Treat all students equally
    • Attention to detail and quality
    • Adhere to Code of Conduct and Ethics
