Areas of Focus

Develop core technology, make design improvements to existing battery designs, and push our technology further for the next generation battery packs.

Responsibilities
Use CAD to develop new concepts
Collaborate closely with suppliers to develop parts
Complete design cycles from concepts to fully validated production designs
Develop and fabricate functional prototypes and test methods to vet out new concepts
Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing with ability to write reports and procedure manuals

Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated successful experience in mechanical engineering from concept through production release with a focus on DFM
Proficient in CAD modeling, Solidworks experience a plus
Experience with various manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, thermoforming, welding/brazing, plating, heat treating, and bonding a plus
A detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills
BS degree in EE/ME or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
MS degree in Engineering field
Lithium - ion experience
