Fairview is looking for a Security Dispatcher to join our team at our Midway location in St Paul MN This position will also support our University of MN Medical Center in Minneapolis MN
The Dispatcher is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Security Dispatch Operations Center Job duties include monitoring of a large bank of CCTV surveillance cameras prioritizing incoming phone calls dispatching Security Officers operate Computer Aided Dispatch CAD system monitoring multiple fire computers and taking appropriate actions
Position Details
This position is NOT benefit eligible Schedule Week 1 Thursday Friday 10p-630a Midway location Week 2 Saturday Sunday 1p-630a Riverside location Responsibilities Monitors CCTV cameras monitor alarms and dispatches security officers appropriately Maintains shift log of all activities during shift CAD Provides excellent customer service to callers and on-site visitors Prioritize calls in order of importance dispatch services appropriately Ensure appropriate end of life procedures are followed including coordinating removal removal remains from patient care unit coordinating with funeral homes working with Pathology dept ME if required Coordination with donor services if requested Maintain all paperwork Provide high level high customer service internal external customers Demonstrates ability provide care or service adjusting approaches reflect developmental level cultural differences population served
