- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and other professionals.
- Provide specially designed instruction and accommodations to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities, including academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support.
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate students' diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, and adjust instructional strategies and interventions as needed to ensure student success.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and school improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Minnesota state teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
