24 Hour Mental Health Crisis Unit:

Full Time, Part Time and Pool Positions Available

Available Shifts: 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, 11pm to 7am

JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting with daily programming as directed by the Director, the Program Manager, the Charge Nurse and the Milieu Specialist. Spends individual time with consumers. Assists and/or provides selected group activities, and promoting a positive, reinforcing environment for children and/or adults served in the program.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; preferable experience in mental health or related setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to bend, lift a minimum of 50#, stretch, lower and raise self from floor independently. Ability to hear and see in emergency situations. Must be able to pass NAPPI training and perform NAPPI techniques.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to all program conditions which may include physical intervention and verbal abuse by consumers. Work hours include weekends and may include extended hours when the need arises.
