We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Apex Companies.

The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of responsibility as a Foreman for stormwater utilities or water/wastewater, industrial, or commercial sites. The candidate must have strong knowledge and understanding of plan sets and structural specs, heavy equipment operations, and OSHAs safety regulations.

• Repair post construction stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, underground utilities, and stormwater basins throughout the Northeast region.
• Maintain equipment trailer and service vehicles.
• Operate hand-held, power tools, and heavy construction equipment (e.g. skid loader, backhoe, excavator).
• Train and supervise construction technicians.
• Manage project activities, budgets, documentation, and timelines.
• Apply construction and regulatory compliance techniques.
• Document field observations.
• Account for and manage project materials and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Ensure safe performance of project work.

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 5-7 years of construction experience.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and manage staff.
• Experience with operation of heavy construction equipment, power tools, and concrete hand tools.
• Prior experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar, and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
• Able to perform manual labor, Lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.
