- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose cloud solutions, and implement best practices for cloud architecture and design
- Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Implement and manage cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and VPN connections, to ensure secure and efficient communication within the cloud environment
- Configure and optimize cloud storage solutions, including object storage, block storage, and file storage, to meet performance and availability requirements
- Monitor cloud resources and services for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal performance
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and security controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, services, and applications, and provide timely escalation and resolution as needed
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to integrate cloud services to automate deployment processes
- Stay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate new tools and services to enhance our cloud capabilities
- 5+ years of progressive experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security
- Proficiency in cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or similar
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS
- Solid understanding of networking principles and experience configuring cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups and segmentation
- Hands-on experience with AWS event handling
- IAM competence avoiding weak authentication methods during design in favor of role based methods
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Base Salary: $130,000
