Position Overview
Cherry Hills Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered, passionate, and collaborative Middle School Teacher who will joyfully partner in our commitment to prepare students to live fully for God. The ideal candidate will embody the heart of a disciple-maker, pursue academic excellence, and cultivate meaningful relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a Christ-centered, nurturing classroom environment that fosters spiritual growth, academic curiosity, and student engagement
- Design and deliver differentiated, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with CHCS's academic standards and biblical worldview integration
- Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs
- Maintain consistent and meaningful communication with parents, partnering with them in both the academic and spiritual development of their children
- Collaborate regularly with teammates and school leadership to support a unified, mission-aligned learning community
- Participate fully in school events, professional development, and discipleship opportunities
- Uphold high standards of classroom management that reflect grace, consistency, and biblical principles
- Model the ideal team player traits—humble, hungry, people smart, positive and loyal —in all professional interactions
- Contribute to the spiritual life of the school by participating in chapel, prayer, and mentoring students as disciples of Jesus

Salary Range: $54,000 - $94,000

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects Biblical principles
- A deep commitment to the Great Commission and a passion for discipling the next generation
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field (master's preferred)
- Current teaching certification or willingness to pursue certification
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Experience integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum and classroom culture
- A collaborative spirit and a desire to be part of a dynamic, mission-driven team
- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance instruction
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and improve professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Christian or independent school education
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional best practices for middle school students
- Coaching, extracurricular leadership, or missions involvement
- Must agree to the mission statement, values, and faith statement
Salary Description
$52,000 - $94,000
