    Description
    The Treasury Consultant is responsible for collaborating with the Corporate Treasury in the execution of global transactions encompassing foreign exchange (FX), commodities, commercial paper, stock repurchase, debt issuance, FX and IR derivatives, and more. This role requires demonstrated expertise in international cash management, global payments, and Treasury Management Systems.

    The candidate should be adept at developing new business models in response to changing environments, leveraging their analytical skills to support
    management with reporting and special projects. An in- depth understanding of control options in Reval and the capability to streamline processes and enhance efficiency is vital.

    Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
    • Collaborating closely with the Corporate Treasury to facilitate investment transactions including FX, commodities, commercial paper, stock repurchase, debt issuance, FX and IR derivatives, and others, and managing the associated collateral.
    • Applying robust analytical capabilities and experience to support management in generating reports, executing special projects, and formulating new business adaptation models.
    • Also required is performing bank fee analysis, and treasury transaction analysis.
    • Employing expertise in Reval to recommend future processes aimed at achieving maximum straight through processing.
    • Working in tandem with the Corporate Treasury in the execution and maintenance of the internal factoring program.
    • Maintaining the banking master file and fostering strong relationships with external banking and investment partners.
    • Assisting management in driving process improvement initiatives, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
    Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • CTP certification preferred but not required.
    Related Work Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years Finance experience with demonstrated analytical capability preferred.
    • Able to work accurately and under high pressure within fixed and short timeframes. Detail oriented and
    • good organizational skills. Results and quality oriented.
    • Drive automation.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices, internal treasury activities and financial market conditions.
    • Experience using a Treasury Workstation (Preferably Reval or comparable system) and Misys a plus.

    • Understanding domestic and international payment systems to ensure that appropriate settlement details
    • are present (SWIFT).
    Functional Skills:
    • Market Operations Knowledge of financial market operations (i.e Forwards, Spots, Swaps, Options, Investments) and the key aspects affecting valuation.
    • Treasury Transactions - Understanding of the various types of treasury transactions to enable independent confirmation.
    • Ability to adapt as different types of transactions are introduced.
    • Understanding of Accounting is beneficial Treasury Policies
    • Knowledge of Treasury financial policies and procedures.
    • Analysis and Ability to create ad hoc analysis to support business needs.
