    Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients' care in conjunction with other departments.Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice,the goals of Mercy Health System,the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy,the State Nurse Practice Act,the Code of Professional and Business Ethics,and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct.Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission,values,and Mercy Service Standards.

    Position Details:

    Nursing Opportunities at Our Facility

    We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across various units including Emergency Department,ICU,Cardiac Telemetry,Medical-Surgical - Adults,Medical-Surgical - Adults & Peds.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment,communication,supportive team player skills along with a passion for continuous learning.

    *Nursing Responsibilities: *Maintain accurate records,written orders,treatments,& medication as required.Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions(en),delivery excellent communication incorporating key action items.Support service excellence standards through various processes..
  • ?Education:-Graduate from an accredited RN program.-Licensure-active registered nurse license either Missouri or compact state.Licenses must meet Missouri Board requirements.Experience-minimum 1 year experience desired.Certifications:-BLS-(Basic Life Support)-Required,BLS training within 30 days
    -Depending on department assignment-may require ACLS -(Advanced Cardiac Life Support),and/or,PALS-(Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
