    Description

    A superintendent will work with the senior superintendent and project manager on site activities including trade and field personnel in order to complete health care projects on time and within budget.

    They are in charge of maintaining quality and safety practices. Our client at Michael Page, is a team oriented general contractor that operates in the Pacific Coast.

    This general contractor has been in business for over 40 years, they build a variety of projects throughout the coast.

    They are known for their health care sector, but have experience doing high education, retail, hospitality, tower, and office spaces.

    As their pipeline is growing they need more people to join their team, especially in their main sector of work health care.

    Has a understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and compliance issues associated with all agencies in the project.
    Optimize field crews to achieve and maintain maximum craft productivity with the lowest possible labor and material costs.

    Be able to use regular input from key suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the development and updating the project schedule and the overall executive work.

    Participate in the preconstruction and other project teams to provide support, safety, and to evaluate possible risk of the construction site.

    Be a leader to the development of the field staff, foreman, carpenters, and laborers.
    Must have experience working on a hospital as a superintendent either tenant improvement, or ground up.
    Has a desire to help motivate and develop people.
    Has experience and knowledge using the newest construction software.
