    About Our Client:

    Our client is a family-owned general contractor located in the Western Suburbs. They have been around for 75+ years and specialize in commercial construction. They have a 2 year backlog of projects and are searching for a Project Manager to assist with their upcoming workload.

    Role Overview:

    As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
    • Implement best practices in project management methodologies, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate any obstacles.
    • Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements on all projects.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing regular updates, and ensuring overall satisfaction with project deliverables.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.
