- Define system security requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensure cybersecurity requirements are consistently monitored throughout the system life cycle.
- Provide expert cybersecurity advice to government stakeholders and contractor teams.
- Participate in cybersecurity working group meetings.
- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) cybersecurity reviews.
- Contribute to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for product portfolios.
- Offer cybersecurity engineering support to achieve authority to operate (ATO) packages.
- Assist in ATO-related activities and risk management.
- Work on vulnerability remediation and security control compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver secure systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system and/or security engineering for U.S. Government clients.
- Experience in RMF Assessment and Authorization documentation.
- Experience with DoDI Risk Management Framework for DoD.
- DoD 8570 IASAE Level II baseline certification (CISSP, CCSP, etc.).
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of Cloud security planning and operations.
- Experience in networking and network security.
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity issues effectively.
- Presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership.
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
- Experience with agile and CI/CD frameworks like DevOps or DevSecOps.
- Hands-on experience with cloud cybersecurity implementations.
- DoD 8570 IASAE Level III certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
