Job Description:

Hours: 9:00am-7:00pm with one hour lunch (M, T, W, TH); start/end times may varyThe Clinic Lab Technician position is responsible for providing clerical and organizational support to the laboratory.

Works under general supervision while performing various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs laboratory analysis of specimens and records results.

Applies the principles of growth and development to the care of patients of all ages. Testing will be limited to waived and moderate complexity testing only as defined by CLIA 88 regulations.


EDUCATION:
GED or High School Diploma required. Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Assisting preferred.


CERTIFICATES:
MLT certification or MA certification preferred.
