Ergon Trucking, Inc is looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to add to our team in Petal, MS.

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be the one to relay information between drivers and customers to insure proper equipment is used and orders are delivered in a safe and timely manner.

A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor supply chain operationsEnsure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectivelyUtilize logistics IT to optimize proceduresDispatch and coordinate drivers according to availabilities and requirementsCommunicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc.

to achieve mutual satisfactionPlan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirementsPrepare accurate reports for upper managementSkillsProven experience as logistics coordinatorExperience in customer service will be appreciatedKnowledge of Federal, State and local regulationsAbility to work with little supervision and track multiple processesComputer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics softwareOutstanding organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skillsAbility to sit for long periods of timeProfessional appearance and attitude
