    About the Role & Team

    Amplitude's GTM Strategy & Operations team is leading the strategy, planning and operational management across the GTM teams for Amplitude. Sales Operations is a critical business function and growth enabler leading our sales strategy, planning and operations for Sales. We are searching for an outstanding Sales Development Strategy & Operations Manager to support the growth of our Sales team to continue our journey of growth of productivity. This will be a hybrid role.

    What You'll Do

  • Sales Planning - support the sales management team in sales planning including sales coverage, territory planning & quota setting.
  • Sales Cadence - improve and lead our sales cadence including forecasting, pipeline reviews, process and systems hygiene, and execution.
  • Sales Analytics - support sales leadership in drawing insights from sales analysis and reporting, helping managers drive performance and efficiency across their teams.
  • Process & Systems - partner across teams to drive improvement in sales processes and systems, enabling a better experience for our sellers and customers.
  • Reporting - support Sales leadership in drawing insights from data analysis and reporting, helping drive performance and productivity.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, business analyst, consulting or financial analyst roles
  • Bachelor's degree required or additional years' experience in a similar role.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organization skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking.
  • CRM Experience Required – Salesforce preferred.
  • Advanced Experience with working with Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, and other business analytics.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (e.g. should know commonly-used functions such as INDEX(MATCH), VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or similar - beneficial
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable informed decision making.
  • Adept at business partnering and working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way.
  • Agility and demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are imperative.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to serve a diverse global sales operations team.
  • Knowledge/experience with , and other sales efficiency and forecasting tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow-through; can own and take tasks through to completion
  • Additional experience working at a high-growth startup or tech company

    Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $155,000 - $233,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

    Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $140,000 - $210,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
