    The Maintenance Planner is a key position on the maintenance team who manages and prioritizes all proactive work, to maximize the work hours available each week.

    They leverage advanced technical knowledge to serve as the liaison between operations and the maintenance department to put together the most effective work plan.

    The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler job is to anticipate and eliminate potential delays by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

    The maintenance planner/scheduler has mechanical & electrical knowledge and brings strong organization and systems/computer skills to the job.

    Job Description:
    Estimate costs, including labor, materials, and contract services, for each work order.

    Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function, including review and prioritization of work requests, and conversion of work requests into planned work orders.

    Review work order feedback information to improve future planning efforts.
    Develop Preventive maintenance programs based on OEM recommendations, root cause analysis results, and learnings from the maintenance team.
    Be the CMMS Super User who understands all aspects of the system and can train other team members.

    Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance department by directing activity of contractors and maintenance personnel through the execution of all planned downtime work, PM programs, work orders, MRO inventory organization, and machine-specific maintenance procedures.

    Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects and development of plant performance measurements.

    Create and track KPIs in Excel by running reports from the CMMS.Own the Asset Hierarchy by identifying all assets and children's assets in the CMMS.Manage work order backlog by handling long - and short-term planning.

    Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information for every critical asset.

    In partnership with the Maintenance Manager, assist in the development and optimization of preventive maintenance routines for all areas of the plant.

    Lead weekly Maintenance Scheduling Meeting.

    Identify and implement cost saving ideas in maintaining the plant by managing the preventive maintenance program for the production lines and building maintenance.

    Maintain documentation necessary for operations including tracking work orders, requisitions, activity reports and daily logbook.
    Support the MRO team with parts acquisition and inventory management.
    Other duties, as assigned.

    Develops a file of standard work orders (plans) for regularly recurring repair jobs, based on historical experience, to simplify the planning process.

    Assists maintenance and production management in periodically analyzing costs and, where necessary recommends corrective action needed to reduce maintenance costs.


    Qualifications and Requirements:
    5+ years proven experience in maintenance or plant operations. Experience in the SAP S4/Hana environment preferred.
    Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
    Experience in training, coaching, and leading groups.
    Ability to operate both tactically and strategically. Strong situational leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization.
    Capable of building strong relationships with Operations leaders to effect change.

    Elevated level of credibility and influence among hourly associates on siteSelf-starter to lead change and make independent and informed decisions.

    Personal traitsprogressive, adaptable, flexible, high-energy, mature, strong interpersonal skills Analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills to assess needs, understand issues, and identify improvement opportunities.

    Strong PC skills and excellent use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).


    Education:
    HS Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
