    Envirogen is a leading water treatment solutions business. We are growing and are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

    The Role

    As an Electrical Engineer with Envirogen you will be responsible for creating the electrical & controls design, specifying instrumentation, performing detailed engineering, costing, drafting, documentation, specifications, and procurement of various projects from start to finish.

    Your key responsibilities:

    Design and develop the overall electrical & controls philosophy of large-scale water and wastewater treatment projects, including:

    • High voltage distribution for motor control centers.
    • Specify motors, VFDs, electrical valves, and other electrical devices within the project.
    • Write control philosophy, develop control panel design, layout interconnecting wiring & communications.
    • Specification of instrumentation for proper system control and operation.
    • Specification of PLC & HMI hardware and software, including PLC programming and HMI programming.
    • Develop electrical drawings in support of overall electrical design of project.
    • Identify new trends and technologies and develop strategies for using these technologies to improve the products or services of water and wastewater treatment control design

    About you:

    It would be great if your experience covers:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
    • Highly competent in interrogating suppliers instrumentation or electrical package
    • Strong understanding of the various operations associated with water and wastewater systems and the electrical / controls requirements of these processes.
    • Reading, understanding, and generating electrical drawings.
    • Reading, understanding, visualizing, and generating electrical layout drawings.
    • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop technical and commercially viable solutions to meet our Clients' requirements.
    • Ability to function in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
