- High voltage distribution for motor control centers.
- Specify motors, VFDs, electrical valves, and other electrical devices within the project.
- Write control philosophy, develop control panel design, layout interconnecting wiring & communications.
- Specification of instrumentation for proper system control and operation.
- Specification of PLC & HMI hardware and software, including PLC programming and HMI programming.
- Develop electrical drawings in support of overall electrical design of project.
- Identify new trends and technologies and develop strategies for using these technologies to improve the products or services of water and wastewater treatment control design
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Highly competent in interrogating suppliers instrumentation or electrical package
- Strong understanding of the various operations associated with water and wastewater systems and the electrical / controls requirements of these processes.
- Reading, understanding, and generating electrical drawings.
- Reading, understanding, visualizing, and generating electrical layout drawings.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop technical and commercially viable solutions to meet our Clients' requirements.
- Ability to function in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
