- Configure network hardware/services for HQ and remote sites, including firewalls, switches, modems, Wi- Fi, cell service, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VoIP, VPNs.
- Monitor network infrastructure for reliability, integrity, and performance and alert management when potential problems are detected
- Perform and/or assist in performing selection, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network management and monitoring systems.
- Keep documentation of network infrastructure updated
- Train IT support personnel and end users in basic network configuration, troubleshooting and repair where appropriate
- Troubleshoot advanced networking issues
- Assist in building secure network templates for deployment to remote locations
- Assist in the establishment of internet service for new sites
- Assist in network infrastructure planning and design
- Assist in implementing and testing disaster recovery/business continuity procedures
- Part of the on-call rotation
- Must have experience with the configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of firewalls.
- Experience with cloud solutions, Virtual Environments, and Linux a plus
- B. S. in Computer or Information Science and 3 years' work experience in network administration or 5 years work experience in network administration
