    About the Role:

    Our Client is a small boutique law firm located in Oceanside, NY is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of legal matters and provides the potential for professional growth and advancement within the firm. In addition, this position also offers and opportunity work with diverse clientele in a collaborative and dynamic setting.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues.

    · Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.

    · Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and negotiations.

    · Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.

    · Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.

    · Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal issues.

    · Attend client meetings and participate in case conferences and strategy sessions.

    · Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

    · Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed to support the firm's operations.

    · Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas.

    · Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of legal practice.

    Salary:

    Commensurate with Experience.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    · Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

    · Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.

    · Minimum of 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a similar practice area or setting.

    · Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    · Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    · Proficiency in legal research tools and software applications.

    · Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.

    · Experience in civil litigation, real estate, or estate planning is a plus but not required.
