Medical Optometrist Opportunity w/a Balanced Lifestyle in Souix Falls, SDABOUT THE POSITION:
Primary Care patients, CL's, Glaucoma, DM, AMD, pediatrics, optical, more medical than typical because no Ophthalmologist in town; Lipiflow; Large optical; Average 3 patients per hour with a goal of 18-22 patients per day.
No call, no nights, no weekends.
36 hours per week, 4.5 days per week, M-F, 8-5.

Full technician support; all pretest except refraction and ocular health
Exam Writer (OfficeMate) EMR and PM. Will be transitioning to Nextech EMR by summer 2023.

Well established eye care practice serving the community for 50+ years offers an excellent opportunity to join their medical team due to a provider retiring.
The optometrist orders and analyzes OCT, VF, and Optomap, prescribes spectacles and contact lenses, emergent visits, dry eye treatment (Lipiflow available), and co-manages patients for cataracts, LASIK, PRK, surgery, and more.
