Job summary
The Associate Production Team Leader will be an engaging leader for team growth and business results while maintaining a people quality and safety first mindset.This position is responsible for manufacturing leadership in the Cleanroom product assembly accountable for team performance in the areas of quality delivery and performance to budget team building employee engagement new product transfer capacity and production planning.
Additional responsibilities include operations launch functions for product transfer to Kalamazoo site from other Stryker locations oversight of Cleanroom business unit which includes multiple assembly lines leading team members from Operations to achieve monthly production targets using data and other inputs to identify prioritize and deliver on business customer needs forecasting predicting recruitment needs of temporary permanent talent managing labor through OT approval timecard management driving employee engagement holding team associated personnel accountable for Cleanroom quality requirements collaborating with cross functional teams analyzing identifying levers to impact metrics/action plans anticipating predicting line down issues partnering with support staff identifying prioritizing cost reduction initiatives partnering with other business unit leaders managing cost performance leading daily meetings communicating business results/metrics clearly evaluating employee performance enforcing company policies participating in regulatory agency audits drive culture continuous improvement supporting process improvements including 6S lean manufacturing initiatives.
