    Opportunity:

    Registered Nurse - OR

    Job Details:


    • 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week

    • 5x8 hour shifts with various shift times

    • May be required to float to other central locations if needed

    • On-call requirements: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week with potential for additional call as needed

    • Can be low censused and put on call with call back minimum of 2 hours

    • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required

    • Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License

    • Minimum 2+ years OR experience with cardiac experience required

    • Prior travel experience required

    • Associate Degree or Certificate required

    • Epic charting experience preferred

    • Work in 21 operating rooms including all specialties with 3 cardiovascular rooms and 1-2 peripheral vascular rooms

    • Handle 1-5 cases per day, approximately 45 cases per month

    • Cardiothoracic experience required including off and on pump bypass graft cases, valve replacements, maze procedures, pacemakers, TAVR, and aortic dissections

    • Perform case cart preparation, downtime stocking, cleaning, and other support tasks

    • May circulate general cases during downtime

    • Any color scrubs permitted

    • Must comply with flu season mask policy if vaccination is declined

    • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility

    This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 21 operating rooms covering all surgical specialties. The facility features specialized cardiovascular and peripheral vascular suites, providing advanced cardiac surgical services including complex procedures. The organization maintains high standards for surgical care and utilizes modern equipment and Epic charting systems to support patient care and documentation.

    Adex Job ID #ASWAHW Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
