    Job DescriptionWeld Technician, up to $26/hr, Farmington Hills, MIAre you looking to further your career and grow as a Weld Technician? Do you have experience welding/fabricating and troubleshooting and repairing equipment, specifically heat treating equipment?If so, this is the position for you, and you have to look no furtherDuties and Responsibilities:
    • Welding mild or stainless pipe, plate, or angle steel
    • Fabrication of miscellaneous furnace parts
    • Operating equipment such as: saws, drills, grinders, MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, fork lifts, scissors lifts, and cranes
    • Shop maintenance
    • Brick/Insulation work
    • Pipe fitting/Pipe welding
    • Painting furnace exteriors, piping, and spare parts
    Qualifications:
    • General maintenance knowledge
    • Basic understanding of shop safety and procedures
    • Schedule flexibility
    • Troubleshooting capabilities
    • Print reading capabilities
    • Willingness to take on a variety of different tasks
    • Must have valid Drivers License
    In this position, the Weld Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting/repairing heat treating equipment and reporting back to project management or the job lead. This position is going from 7am-3:30pm M-F.
