    Role: IT Support Engineer (Level II)
    Location: Hybrid - 3 days on-site - Kennett Square, PA
    + about 10% travel to client sites on an as-needed basis
    Type: Direct hire/permanent
    *No third parties, must be authorized to work in the US on W2 without sponsorship

    Our client is looking for a IT Support Engineer - Level II to join their team This is a permanent/direct hire position and requires someone local to their regional office for a hybrid work model (3 days on-site per week).

    Technical Expertise:

    • Server Operating Systems
    • Setup file, print, and remote access services
    • Basic administration tasks like user management, file permissions, event log checks, and backup restoration
    • Enterprise Email
    • Proficiency in O365 administration
    • Workstation Management
    • Troubleshooting and setup
    • Configuring standard email clients like Outlook
    • Installation, configuration, and customization of MS Office Suite applications
    • Security Infrastructure
    • Familiarity with MFA and password policies
    • Networking Proficiency
    • Understanding TCP/IP subnetting and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
    • Knowledge of routers, firewalls, Terminal Services (RDS), DNS services, and Active Directory concepts
    • Familiarity with High Availability/Load Balancing solutions, MDM technology, and Azure
    • Administrative tasks including user management, file permissions, event log checks, and backup restoration Time Management and Communication Skills:
    • Accurate time tracking through daily time entry and monthly billing
    • Ability to onboard new clients and maintain Minimum Documentation Standards
    • Commitment to ongoing self-training and effective communication with stakeholders
    • Ownership of tasks with attention to detail Team Collaboration:
    • Ability to handle stressful situations and seek technical expertise when needed
    • Provide accurate time estimates and understand the importance of team success
    • Willingness to learn new technologies and support team goals
    • Enjoyment in helping others and willingness to champion ideas

    Top skills/must-haves:

    • Active Directory and Group Policy experience
    • O365 experience- experience adding and removing users to the O365 environment
    • Experience installing and configuring Windows OS to devices
    • Basic understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, routing and firewalls

    Soft skills:

    • Must have great customer service skills.
    • Must be a team player and be able to work in a family like oriented environment
