- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize business growth and achieve customer retention and acquisition objectives.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by conducting sales calls and establishing a personal referral network.
- Maintain active involvement in the community and develop key business and community relationships.
- Improve team performance, recognize and reward performance, coach employees, support their development, and manage poor performance.
- Deepen consumer and business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience.
- Coach and deliver needs-based sales process to proactively identify the financial needs of current or prospective customers.
- Cultivate key internal partnerships to drive business in the trade area.
- Manage overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory related policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge and educate teams on all products, services, technology, and policies.
- Actively lead the recruitment/hiring/onboarding process to ensure the team is staffed with colleagues suitable for the bank's culture.
- Develop and maintain a network in the community to enhance the bank's visibility and build strong referral sources for new business.
- Support the bank's community involvement and participate in community activities.
- Create a culture that attracts, retains, and grows a team that values diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
- Ensure proper operations/risk discipline, controls, and culture are in place to identify, escalate, and debate issues.
- Uphold the bank's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Associate's degree in banking, finance, or a related field.
- Three to five years of retail banking experience required.
- Five or more years of retail banking experience with management experience preferred.
