    Job title: Senior Financial Analyst

    Reports to: TSG Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

    Supervisory responsibilities: Accounting Manager

    Summary/objective: Steel Craft Technologies is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to assist with corporate financial analysis and reporting. This position is also responsible for coordinating and collaborating with all levels of management on any accounting and financial management matters and/or special projects.

    Essential functions:

    • Assist in the development and subsequent auditing of Microsoft Power BI reports
    • Guide cost analysis process by enforcing and auditing established policies and procedures
    • Develop financial models that include industry benchmarking and process analysis
    • Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance to develop forecast models for capital expenditures and other projects
    • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives
    • Maintain job costing by establishing overhead rates and verifying data collected by the ERP system
    • Calculate the cost of operations by collecting operational data and calculating labor rates
    • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
    • Assist individual company accountants with audit and tax related deliverables

    Required competency, education, and experience:

    • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    • Candidate must have 6 years of related experience in similar or equivalent role.
    • Experience with Sage 100 and/or Microsoft Power BI.
    • Candidate must have superior Microsoft Office skills.
    • Candidate must be well organized and have good attention to detail.
    • Candidate must have good communication and people skills.

    Preferred education and experience:

    • CPA or other professional certification
    • Public Accounting experience
    • Ability to write SQL or DAX code
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

    Work environment: Office setting in a manufacturing environment.

    Physical demands:

    • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
    • Repetitive hand motions.
    • Prolonged use of computer.
    • Ability to move or lift files and boxes up to 10 lbs

    Position type and expected hours of work: Full time

    Travel: <10%
