    Description
    Job overview:
    Under general supervision, this position is responsible to plan, define and execute all relevant static and dynamic vehicle testing standards related to launches of new vehicle models, facelifts (MOPFs) and model years, to enable the organization to promote and control the quality of manufacturing to fulfill the internal and external customer expectations and thereby enable our client to meet business targets.

    Duties and responsibilities:
    • Monitor and coordinate trial vehicles out of production as input for OerallVehicleTesting (OVT) fleet use.
    • Coordinate preparation activities with OVT shop and General Repair in order to achieve target schedule.
    • Develop and maintain OVT fleet conditioning, incl. HardWare, SoftWare and Data-Logger update.
    • Plan testing events incl. personnel, vehicles, testing equipment, etc. considering mid-term and long-term targets.
    • Drive, coordinate and update weekly and monthly Mgmt Report Deck for status communication.
    • Actively support EE test events by following Guided-Test protocol and document finings in MB StarC system.
    • Support special event requests for vehicle preparation and finessing to Show Car level standards.
    • Assure customer satisfaction for both our internal and external customers by maintaining and improving both system and vehicle quality.
    • Ensure lessons learned from previous projects are incorporated into planning for future launches.
    • Understand and communicate the impact of new standards to the organization. Drive project targets with fleet- and sensor partners throughout the plant for new car projects, facelifts and model years.
    • Track problem solving process of customer relevant issues and escalate if necessary.
    • Track open topics regularly and ensure compliance with Quality standards. Support the QM-Release for product readiness to ensure new launch content is customer ready.
    • Keep management informed of high risk topics and status through regular escalation meetings.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related area with equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years in Automotive R&D, Computer Engineering, BEV repair shop management.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels within the organization
    • Strong conceptual thinking, analytical and problem solving skills; understanding need for details and big picture
    • Ability to focus on customer needs and achieve results effectively in a team environment
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and apply time management independently

    Preferred Skills:
    • German language skills
    • Knowledge of Quality Management System
    • Computer skills including application of critical issue tracking and countermeasure systems such as ZEUS, CAT, FLIMS, Xentry, Softing Tools

    Contract Details:
    Shift - 1st Shift
    OT - Mandatory if needed
    Weekends - Mandatory if needed
    Travel - Potential domestic and international
    Pay - $36.43/hr
