Job Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will be responsible for checking and verifying engineering drawings and related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality, and use of design standards where work is of a complex nature by performing the following dutiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability requiredReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsVerify engineering drawings to best practices and standardsWorks with engineering personnel to resolve discrepanciesRedline drawings in electronic format and communicates back to engineering teamMust be able to work independently and as a teamPerforms other related tasks as required

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft offices including excel, word, and outlookMust have the ability to read 3D models, drawings, and Bill of MaterialsMust have excellent communication skillsFundamental understanding of GD&TAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customersAbility to calculate and understand tolerance stack up analysis which involves the concepts of basic algebra and geometryAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Desired Qualifications:
NX (formally Unigraphics)Siemens TeamcenterExperience with commercial Aircraft monuments or other interior productsFamiliarity with aerospace standardsFamiliarity with Adobe ReaderASME Y14
