Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patients chest.Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County.     **Responsibilities**

    **Position Summary:**

    The Radiologic Technologist I under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic emergency and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provides Radiology services to all ages.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum:**

    + Current and valid CRT Permit (California) required.

    + Current and valid Fluoroscopy Permit (California) required.

    + Current and valid American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.

    + Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) required.

    + Understanding of sterile techniques.

    + Ability to follow protocols. Ability to develop successful relationships with patients and physicians. Can identify areas of concern and take accurate images. Ability to discern emergent situations.

    + This position requires skills in Diagnostic Radiology Surgery (c-arm) and Fluoroscopy procedures. Must meet all Radiologic Technology I competencies

    **Preferred:**

    + AS in Radiologic Sciences preferred.

    + One (1) to two (2) years experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.

    + ARRT credentials in any of the following (CT) (N) (T) (MR) (S) (M) (QM) (BD) (CV) (CI) (VI) (VS) (BS) preferred.

    **Pay Range**

    $ $61.56 /hour
