- Bachelor's degree from a fouryear college or university in Engineering or Architecture.
- 4+ years of experience in the architectural/ engineering consulting industry leading projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect license required.
- OSHA10 Certification (NJ, MD, PA, FL).
- Familiarity with drafting software (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit)
- Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Professional and courteous interaction with clients and colleagues.

Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join one of our Architecture, Engineering and Construction clients. This opportunity will be based out of Tampa Florida for a direct placement opportunity. The client portfolio consists of multifamily, industrial, commercial, and retail buildings for insurance industry, hospitality and healthcare.The Project Engineer will be responsible for performing various types of inspections, testing, and producing plans, specifications and reports for clients.
This is a technical position to support architectural and engineering projects.Duties include managing meetings for projects, project plans and timelines, and conduct onsite inspections, document existing conditions, performing field testing, photographing, and creating hand sketches.
Project Engineer is responsible for tracking and observing progress to ensure compliance with project specifications. Engineer must be able to perform design, calculations and drawings. Other duties include peer review and mark ups, andassist in the development and review of technical specifications, drawings, and construction documents.
OSHA-30 Certification (NY).
