- Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large transit planning and environmental compliance projects
- Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents
- Establish client relations and participate in various meetings
- Lead the work of team members in completing required studies and reports
- Engage in public participation, agency coordination, and programming
- Collaborate with technical professionals and other disciplines
- Manage staffing and workload to ensure project completion within budget and schedule
- Perform additional duties as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in transportation planning and design
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of transit planning and relevant programs
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and personnel
- Solid business development and client relations skills
- Effective presentation skills

We're looking for a Senior Transit Planner
Join our South Florida Transportation Practice at HDR. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, or West Palm Beach, FL.
